Canal Barges & Granes, this is a demonstration of the company's continued commitment to supporting the development of marine infrastructure throughout Latin America.
Canal Barges & Granes, a Panama-based company specializing in deck barge rentals for multipurpose marine infrastructure projects, recently expanded its fleet with the acquisition of two 5,400-ton capacity deck barges.
These vessels, purchased from McDonough Marine Services in the United States, are currently docked in Cartagena, Colombia, where they are undergoing dry dock preparations for an upcoming project in South America. This significant investment is a demonstration to the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting marine infrastructure development throughout Latin America.
The journey from Coatzacoalcos, Mexico, to Cartagena, Colombia, was made possible by the collaboration with strategic partner SAAM, despite the challenges posed by hurricane season.

Thanks to careful planning and excel lent teamwork, the barges arrived smoothly and on schedule. Canal Barges & Cranes is proud to continue enhancing its capabilities and strengthening its partnerships, ensuring reliable support for infrastructure projects all over the American continent
