This operation underscores Canal Barges & Granes leadership in sea transportation and floating platform services across the Americas.
Canal Barges & Granes executed a few years ago a highly complex operation, transporting three 285-ton power plant engines from Balboa anchorage to Puerto Caimito, Panama. The engines, delivered by a heavy-lift vessel from Europe to the Balboa terminal , were carefully loaded and secured onto one of our deck barges for a coastal voyage along Panama’s Pacific shoreline.

Upan arriving at the improvised landing point, ali safety protocols were meticulously followed to ensure the successful offloading of the engines, which were then transported by road to their destination. This operation underscores Canal Barges & Granes’ leadership in sea transportation and floating platform services across the Americas.
